Conferences coming to Downtown Ithaca

We are delighted to let you know we have two conferences taking place in Ithaca coming up, and they are looking to engage with the local businesses!

Finger Lakes Library System YSS Conference
Friday, April 28, 2017

The Youth Services Section of the Finger Lakes Library System will be hosting their 2017 Spring conference titled, “Out of the Box” at the State Theatre and Cinemapolis on Friday, April 28th.  Guests will be coming into town and staying overnight.
Attendance estimate approx. 300 people plus spouses.  We are working with the conference organizers to compile a list of businesses downtown who will offer value-added incentives or discounts to conference attendees.  We are also collecting coupons to put in the conference registration packets along with our seasonal guides.

CREATE UPSTATE
Thursday, May 4-6th

Originating in Syracuse, NY, Create Upstate is annual 3-day conference attracting around 300 makers, designers, and creatives from all over Upstate New York.  This year, Create Upstate will be hosting its conference in Downtown Ithaca. 

They are also interested in sharing a collection of deals, promotions, and specials from Downtown Ithaca businesses with their attendees.  If you would like to extend and offer to them, or have a deal or special you would like shared with them, please let us know.

Deadline for inclusion in the listing of deals as well as coupon/handbill drop-off is:
Friday, April 14th for both Conferences
Please email your deal to: Allison@downtownithaca.com and drop-off handbills/coupons to the DIA office.
